It offers increased projector position versatility by increasing screen-to-projector distance, while maintaining an f-stop of 2.0 - 2.9. For instance, when projecting onto a 100" screen (4:3) in any venue or home theater application, it enables the projector to reproduce a clear image from a 20.3 - 36.9' throw, now that amazing.
