Ready for Action
PlayerMic Short was developed by Q5X for the NBA as the world’s first flexible rubber bodypack and is equally at home in all sports and entertainment arenas.
Hear and feel the action without anyone ever seeing how you captured it. PlayerMic Short’s unique one-piece, thin, rubber design protects players from injury should they fall on it or take a direct hit and is extraordinarily concealable.
Combine it with Axient Digital wireless receivers to get superior digital transmission with advanced encryption and spectrum efficiency.
Remote Control Audio System
The QT-AD10PS PlayerMic Short utilizes RCAS (Remote Control Audio System), a revolutionary way to remotely control transmitter settings from a central computer or handheld remote control.
The remote functions allow technicians to control on/off, monitor status, and battery level and make on-the-fly adjustments of frequency, mic offset, mic mute, RF power level, and grouping—all wirelessly.
1-Pin LEMO Microphone Available Separately
The PlayerMic Short transmitter features Q5X's proprietary 1-pin LEMO connector, and compatible microphones are available directly from Q5X. Alternatively, you can send your microphone to Q5X and have it retrofitted with a 1-pin LEMO connector.
